This poem was written in her honor, by her granddaughter Candice Brent:In Memory of Our Grandmother
She will always be remembered for her smiles
and her love and for all the times we shared.
We can only hope she knew just how much we cared.
She looked at each of us with her special pride,
Her feelings toward us she never did hide. There were many times of laughter and plenty of love throughout the years.
She has always been there for us to relieve us from our fears. All we have left is our memories of her that we will always treasure forever,
We will remember hger for all her special ways.
This is how she will be now close to us each and every day. There will always be a special place for grandma in our hearts.
May was buried in Westlawn Memorial Gardens, 163 Street and Stony Plain Road
Died aged 17.
