MATTHEWS, Stanton Leonard
On February 12, 1990, Mr. Stanton Leonard Matthews of Wetaskiwin passed away at Calgary at the age of 76 years.
He is survived by his loving daughter Joan Danyluk and her husband Jim of Calgary; grandsons, John Danyluk and his wife Frances of Wetaskiwin, James Danyluk of Calgary; great-grandchildren, Michael, John and Stephanie Jones Danyluk of Wetaskiwin; nieces, Myrna Matthews of Calgary, Heather Jensen and her husband Kurt of Wetaskiwin, Verna Wahl and Jean Levers; nephews, Tom Matthews and his wife Karen of Edmonton and Ray Matthews. He was predeceased by his wife Marion in 1981 and his brothers, Norman and Jack. Mr. Matthews was a long time resident of the Wetaskiwin and Ponoka areas and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Funeral service will be Friday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m. from Roth and Sons Funeral Home, Wetaskiwin with Reverend Bert Moriartey officiating. Interment in the Forest Home Cemetery, Ponoka. Roth and Sons Funeral Directors, Wetaskiwin. 1-352-5252.
